Hey okay, so! There’s this great comic, Gunnerkrigg Court. The guy who makes Gunnerkrigg Court, Tom Siddell, very recently quit his job to work on the comic full time and needs a lot of support from us.
Gunnerkrigg Court has been my favorite comic- probably of all time!- for years now. The story is deep and exciting and satisfying, the characters feel like friends I know rather than fictional people in a comic, and the world being built is mysterious and engrossing. What’s more, Tom is a close friend of mine and I know for a fact he deserves all the happiness and support he can get. If you haven’t read Gunnerkrigg, now is a great time to start, and if you have, please consider supporting a great artist, inspiration and good friend of mine. It would really mean a lot to me if you did.
Fun fact: There wouldn’t be a SHELL without Tom, it was his suggestion that, rather than being aliens or nature spirits or someting, the monsters come from an antagonistic shadowy adult organization. His encouragement and ideas helped shape Monster Pulse immensely. So even if you’re not a GC reader (but you should be!) maybe go over and give him some support to thank him for that.
Comic artists depend on people like you to continue to make a living doing what we love. Gunnerkrigg Court is one of the best comics being made today. Thank you in advance for your kind support of it.
